Spring is coming and we are working hard to get all our new products set! We have a terrific selection of garden seeds this year. We have a large selection of Livingston seeds, and new this year we have Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, which are rare varieties of peppers, tomatoes, squash, melons, greens and more! And in Bourbonnais only, we have a lovely line of seeds from Botanical Interest featuring flowers, rare vegetables and herbs.

Our Bourbonnais store is also getting set with a refreshing assortment of spring decor for your home and garden. Come in to smell the latest Yankee Candle scents and get your dose of Spring! We guarantee to help you chase your winter blues away!

Tholens’ Landscape and Garden Center has been proudly serving the Kankakee area for 33 years. That is why in the Kankakee area, when you think of trees, you think of Tholens’! We are a full service garden center, offering a large selection of locally grown trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, and annuals. Our 80 acre nursery along the banks of the Iroquois River provides us with healthy hearty plants which are perfectly suited for our area. Visit both of our locations; they each cater to different projects!

At our Kankakee store, (conveniently located .25 mile north of I-57 exit 308, on Rt. 45-52), we also carry a terrific selection of hard scape materials including: pulverized soil, mulch, decorative and utility gravel, flagstone, brick pavers, stepping stones, and much more. We are the only distributor in Kankakee County for Belgard pavers and keep a large stock of their pavers and retaining wall blocks in stock. Our Bourbonnais location offers a beautiful selection of home décor and giftware in addition to all our terrific plants. Our Bourbonnais store features Yankee Candles, Toland outdoor flags, and Kay Berry Sentiment Stones. We also carry a gorgeous selection of outdoor décor items, from garden stake to arbor, we have just the right piece to accent your favorite flower bed. We also carry an extensive line of beautiful hand crafted pottery and fountains from Asia. You will have to see it to believe it!

Come on in to either store, Monday – Saturday 8am - 5:30pm, our Bourbonnais location is open Sundays 11am – 4pm. We can’t wait to see you!
