Locally Grown Trees, Plants & Landscape Supplies for Kankakee

Tholen’s brings Kankakee, IL homeowners an outstanding selection of locally grown trees and shrubs, including balled-and-burlapped varieties grown at our own 80-acre nursery along the Iroquois River. Because our trees are grown locally, they’re well suited for the climate and landscapes of the Kankakee area. Our 11,000-square-foot greenhouse is also filled seasonally with colorful annuals, perennials, and tropical plants.

Complete your outdoor project with mulch, soil, decorative stone, landscape blocks, brick pavers, and sod, plus pottery, fountains, statuary, bird baths, garden stakes, and other outdoor accents. Need help caring for a struggling tree or plant? Our knowledgeable team can recommend fertilizers, pest-control products, tools, and practical solutions. For more than 40 years, “When you think of trees… think of Tholen’s!”
